Next Founder’s Day: Saturday 4th November 2023
Founder’s Day will not take place this year (2022).
To mark the Canon’s 100th birthday, and the 40th Camp, two celebratory events were held in 2010: Choral Evensong at Winchester College (where Canon Markham was educated) on Saturday October 30th and at Morland Parish Church on Sunday November 7th (the actual date of the Canon’s 100th birthday).
The celebration in Morland is now an annual event “Founder’s Day”, on a Saturday close to the Canon’s birthday.

Usual timetable:
1.30pm – Registration and arrival
2.00pm – Rehearsal, followed by refreshments
5.30pm – Evensong, preceded by procession through the village
6.30pm – Fireworks, followed by supper
