‘A Taste of Morland’, a weekend event for younger singers, also takes place each year. It is one of the courses and events run by David & Jenny Jones (01931 714338, firstname.lastname@example.org) near Morland at Newby End Farm, where they also provide a campsite for tents and caravans and a self-catering cottage.
The Friends of Morland Choristers Camp (Friends of Morland) is an association of former (and present) Camp members. They meet at intervals to sing Evensong in a Cathedral or convenient church, and come to Morland for the last weekend of Camp. The Friends provide valuable support, through identifying potential members of Camp and by raising money for the Bursary Fund or to meet other needs. Those interested should contact Imogen Poliszczuk (FoM@morland.org.uk).

Outside the week of Camp, Morland House is available for weekly lets or short breaks, and the four properties on the Morland Hall estate are available throughout the year for holiday accommodation, weddings and other events. Freddy Markham has holiday cottages, a bunk barn and a campsite for tents and caravans in Morland (Greengill Holidays). He also runs Morland Business Centre, adjoining the village square, which offers rental office accommodation. The Mill Yard Café (set up by Freddy Markham and now run by Robert Kite) is also in the village square, and is open every Wednesday to Sunday and bank holidays.
The Camp sings in Morland Parish Church for practices and services, sings evensong on Friday in Carlisle Cathedral, holds its concert on Saturday in Penrith Methodist Church, uses Morland Area C of E Primary School for meals and rehearsals, and is endorsed by the Royal School of Church Music as an ‘Approved Residential Course’.
